At Kostial Company, interns are a crucial part of our workforce - we value and engage interns as if they are full-time employees.  As an intern, you’re given enormous responsibility working on real projects and, best yet, the opportunity to leave your mark with our growing company.

This FAQ provides a snapshot of what you can expect from an internship with us.  Take a minute to read our intern opportunity to see if there’s a position that fits your interests and career goals.

What can I expect to do at KCo during my internship?

• KCo interns share the same job responsibilities as full-time consultants but assigned to a senior-executive mentor in your field of interest. You'll be given real work with actual problems to solve. As an intern, you'll be charged with enabling our consulting teams to deliver world-class marketing sales and/or services on schedule that's clear and communicated.

If I'm not a marketing major, can I still intern?

• We don't require that you be a marketing major to be a KCo intern. We're interested in individuals who have demonstrated a deep passion for marketing, media and/or sales and have a desire to solve problems in the most powerful means possible.  We're looking for leaders, individuals who have exhibited strong leadership skills in their university, community and/or ancillary interests, like your hobbies.

Will I work with a number of people during my internship, or focus on a specific goal with one particular executve?

• You will commit to a specific executive during your internship. It's the best way to make sure you have the opportunity to make a real contribution. However, there will be plenty of opportunities to attend discussions about different KCo projects, and to interact with other consultants throughout the KCo System.

How long do internships last?

• We ask that interns stay for no less than 12 weeks, which we feel is long enough to dive into a project and make a significant contribution and, importantly, we prefer a minimum of 14 hours/week, which provides you ample time to get very involved with your work here.

Are there locations outside of Austin where I can do an internship?

• Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth are the primary locations where we offer internships, though we do offer internships elsewhere as much as possible, with executives located in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and other major US-based cities. Please ask about any specific city.

Do I have to be a U.S. citizen to apply for an internship?

• We'll interview all qualified candidates regardless of citizenship or visa status. There may be some exceptions for some specific positions.
