After graduating Duke University, Debbie Hyde worked in New York City for 14 years prior to moving to Fort Worth. During that time, she spent 8 years as the Director of Publicity for "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee", "Live with Regis and Kelly" and the launch of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". In addition to publicizing the TV shows, Debbie planned and executed all publicity activities for Regis Philbin.
Prior to working in TV, Debbie spent 6 years as publicity manager for Disney Press and Hyperion Books for Children. During this time, she secured and managed local, regional and national publicity for all Disney Press and Hyperion Books for Children titles.
Debbie also arranged national book tours for authors including William Wegman, Wendy Wasserstein, Rosemary Wells, and Michael Dorris, among others.
