Richard Harris has two passions that he focuses his time on—those being the financial markets and internet companies.  Mr. Harris’ extensive background in the financial markets enables him to focus on operations and client service. Utilizing these skills, Mr. Harris also researches issues of portfolio companies.

Previously, Mr. Harris was an analyst focusing on manager due diligence and monitoring at Gleacher Fund Advisors LP (GFA); a Greenwich based hedge fund of funds group. His responsibilities included maintenance and updating risk profiles on portfolio investments including exposures, leverage, top positions, attribution analysis and more. Mr. Harris also met and interviewed managers looking to be added to the GFA and wrote recommendations for the investments committee.

Finally, Mr. Harris was responsible for benchmark and competitive analysis of the hedge fund of fund universe. Prior to joining GFA, Mr. Harris was an investor relations analyst at BNS Investments, LLC, a New York-based Long/Short and Event Driven Strategy hedge fund. Mr. Harris has a portfolio of internet companies that he is actively engaged with business development.  Mr. Harris received a BA in Political Science from Southern Methodist University.
